Multy composed meat solyanka is a classic of Russian traditional cuisine. in Ukraine for many centuries borsch was prefered, then in Russia (I mean Great Russia, of course) the well-cooked solyanka was always highly valued. Of course, according to the authentic old Russian recipe we will need a Russian stove to cook it in a pot, but we still can do it in an common oven.
Russian SoLyanka is excellent snack for a chilled bottle of vodka. Today is day off so you may do it. At least you should try it in Russia
